
PROJECT SUBMITTED TO THE INNOVATION TRACK / NAFEI PROGRAM AND CONTEST
Dreche is often wasted (85% of the total by-products of beer production), however it offers beneficial properties for the human diet, presenting a high nutritional value, in addition to being a low-cost raw material.
The product presented is an alternative to the energy bars on the market, which provide us with excellent sources of carbohydrates, stimulate recovery and are ideal for consumption after physical activities, or even as a snack. It consists mostly of a natural by-product from the brewing industries, called dreche.
F-ENERGY BARS are expected to be consumed by sportspeople and the general population aged between 15 and 35 years.
