Soups suitable for the introduction of complementary food for children between 4.5 months and 12 months, enriched with wakame seaweed extracts, produced in the national territory. These algae will be used as a salt substitute, giving the soup a more pleasant taste, no longer needing to add salt, and providing essential nutrients for the child's development, such as fiber, omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, complex vitamins B, C and E, and minerals such as iodine, potassium, calcium and magnesium. This product will be vacuum-packed, initially in individual portions of 200ml and sold in packs of 2 units, so that when buying a unit, the customer has access to two doses of soup. However, with the company's growth perspective, there is an intention to also produce packs of 7 units, each with 200ml. WAKASOUP will be a safe, national, practical and inexpensive product, since it will not need refrigeration during its storage and will require a relatively simple and fast production process.
Customers will be hypermarkets, Celeiro and Go Natural, in the metropolitan area of Porto and consumers will be adults between 25 and 40 years old, from the same geographical area, who typically live in an area with greater purchasing power and higher income. high. These customers will take care of children under the age of 1, who will be the main consumers of WAKASOUP. However, the purchase of this product may naturally cover caregivers of children who are included in other age groups, as the composition of WAKASOUP allows it.
