Dr. Marta Vasconcelos was invited and took office in early January 2015, as editor in chief of one of the main thematic areas of the journal Frontiers in Plant Science. This is a top magazine positioned in the 1st quartile of all journals dedicated to the botanical with regard to its impact. Overall it is the second largest magazine of botany in the world and probably will become the greatest of all before the end of the year.

Dr. Marta, which was selected for its varied curriculum that covers the plant and human nutrition, biotechnology and agriculture, is so called to intervene in one of the most important moments of scientific activity: communication and sharing of information. Congratulations for the invitation and new responsibilities, bringing visibility also to her research group and to CBQF!
