The articles resulted from the selection of the best work in the field of food engineering presented at the 4th International Congress of ISEKI - 4th International ISEKI_Food Conference - Bridging Training and Research for Industry and the Wider Community (visit http://www.isekiconferences.com/vienna2016 /).
The 5th congress will take place next year in Stuttgart from 3 to 5 July (visit https://www.isekiconferences.com/stuttgart2018/). Prof. Cristina L.M. Silva was the founder of this congress in 2008 in Porto and, since then, she has been part of the coordination of the scientific program.
