Prof. Cristina L.M. Silva led the edition of the special issue of the Journal of Food Engineering dedicated to the subject “Responsible research and innovation in the food chain value” and that can be accessed at http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/02608774/

The articles resulted from the selection of the best work in the field of food engineering presented at the 4th International Congress of ISEKI - 4th International ISEKI_Food Conference - Bridging Training and Research for Industry and the Wider Community (visit http://www.isekiconferences.com/vienna2016 /).

The 5th congress will take place next year in Stuttgart from 3 to 5 July (visit https://www.isekiconferences.com/stuttgart2018/). Prof. Cristina L.M. Silva was the founder of this congress in 2008 in Porto and, since then, she has been part of the coordination of the scientific program.
