ESB/CBQF associates with the tribute paid nationally, today, April 20, 2015, to Professor José Mariano Gago, with a 5-minute activities stop and concentration in the ESB entrance at 12pm.

Professor Mariano Gago drove and deeply marked the science in Portugal in recent decades, contributing decisively as President of the FCT and Science Minister for the development of national scientific system in many of its aspects. This initiative came from a group of scientists, has membership of research centers, colleges and other institutions across the country and aims to demonstrate public recognition of the national scientific community for the contribution of Professor José Mariano Gago to Portuguese science.
