Course in Laboratory Animal Science, Category C with FELASA accreditation (2015). Currently, PhD student in Biotechnology at ESB, Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Doctoral thesis theme: “EPS_AuGmentS_Aerobic Granular Sludge technology combined with bioaugmentation with immobilized bacteria as a tool to degrade micropollutants from wastewater”, under the supervision of Dr. Paula Castro, and co-supervision of Dr. Catarina Amorim and Dr. Mark Van Loosdrecht. Main research areas: wastewater biotreatment processes; aerobic granular sludge; waste valorization; bioreactors operation. Participation, as a team member, in scientific project WaterJPI/0003/2016 – AQUAVAL – Valorisation of water use in aquaculture using multitrophic systems.
