Bruno Horta holds MSc. in Oncology (2018) by Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar and a Bsc. in Microbiology (2015) by Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Currently, he is a Lab Assistant and a PhD student under the Alchemy Project – a ESB/Amyris joint-collaboration at UCP- aiming at the development of innovative products for food, animal feed, agricultural, cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications. His PhD project focus on the valorisation of aqueous spent broths from Amyris industrial fermentations.
