Completed her PhD in Biotechnology in 2017. Is currently Postdoc, working on the characterization of different germplasms towards the elaboration of new legume-enriched products and more sustainable agricultural practices. Published 21 articles in scientific journals and 4 book chapters. Has received 8 awards and was the first Portuguese woman to be awarded an Accésit Award for Best Doctoral Thesis in Agronomy of the Iberian Peninsula (2018), by the multinational fertilizing company Fertiberia.
