She obtained a BSc in Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), in 2013, and later the degree of MSc in Technological and Comparative Molecular Genetics, in 2016, in the same university. Since 2016, she has been a PhD Student in the Chemical and Biological Sciences Doctoral Programme, in UTAD. From 2014 till 2020 she was also a collaborator of the Biosystems & Integrative Sciences Institute (BioISI-UTAD). In November 2020, she started working as a laboratory assistant, in the Amyris HandCare COVID19 project, in the Centre of Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry (CBQF), within the Faculty of Biotechnology of the Portuguese Catholic University. Her research interests are in the field of molecular biology and related areas.
