MSc and BSc in Microbiology (ESB-UCP, Porto). Since 2011, worked in R&D projects for agro-food, environment and chemical industries. Experience in the area of Circular Economics, in particular on valorisation of by-products. Development of sensorial and nutritional differentiated food products and involvement in up-scaling processes for industry.

Currently Lab assistant and PhD student in ALCHEMY project collaborating in lignin valorisation from sugarcane straw and bagasse.
