My name is Maria Inês Ferreira da Mota and since 2010 I have been working in lignocellulosic biomass valorization mainly in lignin valorization line. From 2010 to 2017 I was a researcher at LSRE-LCM team (FEUP) under the leadership of Prof. Alirio Rodrigues working in extraction, fractionation and purification of phenolic compounds rich streams coming from biomass (e.g. lignin). From April 2017 to February 2019 I was a researcher at the Navigator Company supporting the management of several biorefinery and bioproducts projects ranging from deconstruction of biomass, lignin valorization, among others. Currently I am working in CBQF research group (UCP) in the lignin valorization line into materials and bioproducts.
