Inês Gomes Campos

Inês has a bachelor’s degree in biology, from the Faculty of Sciences in the University of Porto, where she also did her MSc in Aquatic Biologic Resources. She concluded her PhD in Animal Sciences (in Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar-UP) in 2019, where she studied the use of poultry by-products as alternative ingredients in European seabass nutrition. In the Alchemy team, where she is currently working since May of 2020, she is responsible for evaluating fractions that can be interesting for aquaculture as additives in fish nutrition. Her current research interests are fish nutrition, by-product valorization, functional feedstuffs and gastrointestinal models
