Holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of Porto’s University and a MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university.
Has worked in transport phenomena in biomaterials and in the development of peptide-based biomaterials. More recently, has worked as an Analytical Chemist in the Drug Product Development of Hovione, prior to being recruited to Alchemy project.
Currently works as a researcher at ALCHEMY project, namely in the extraction, purification and valorization of by-products.
