I have a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna, Austria and I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at UC San Francisco, USA before joining Amyris as a Computational Biologist in 2020.
Currently, I am working with the Fermentation BASE team developing and upgrading software tools small- and industrial-scale fermentations. Besides building new cool tools, I am interested in synthetic and systems biology, in particular, the development of genetic circuits for the control of cellular behavior.
