Pedro M. Rodrigues has a B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical engineering. He is currently an assistant professor at the Faculty of Biotechnology - Universidade Católica Portuguesa (ESB-UCP) and an integrated member of the Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry (CBQF-UCP). He lectures Bioengineering / Biomedical disciplines in digital signal processing, digital electronics, computer programming and machine learning areas at ESB-UCP. His research areas focus on digital signal processing and artificial intelligence applied to the diagnosis of neurodegenerative, cardiac and speech diseases.
