TEXBOOST - LESS COMMODITIES MORE SPECIALITIES

Highlight

TEXBOOST PROJECT DEVELOPMENT CONSORTIUM, LEADED BY THE COMPANY RIOPELE AND WITH UCP PARTNERSHIP, INVOLVES A TOTAL OF 43 ENTITIES, OF THAT 23 ARE INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES WITHIN THE TEXTILE LINE AND 15 ARE ENESII (NON-CORPORATE ENTITIES THE I&I SYSTEM).

Abstract

The mobilizing project "TexBoost - less Commodities more Specialties" is a project of Textile Cluster: Technology and Fashion, which aims to encompass a set of R&D initiatives, of strong collective character and high inducing and demonstrating effect, with the central companies involvement from the Textile and Clothing sector, but also from other economy complementary sectors.

With R&D areas of Digitalization and Dematerialization; Development of New Materials; New Structures; Smart Textiles and Circular Economy, the project has the following main activities:

  • develop a new generation of textile solutions, in which their degree of innovation is radical compared to existing products, including the generation of new scientific knowledge.
  • develop highly innovative products and processes, using emerging and cutting-edge technologies that will allow new experiences for consumers and companies participating in each PPS;
  • facilitate companies access to new markets / business areas or the strengthening of current markets / business areas, both nationally and internationally.
