The investment in Highly Qualified Human Resources supports the strategy to be developed by EBRI - European Biotechnology Research Institute.
The European Biotechnology Research Institute (EBRI) is a knowledge valorization and transfer center in the bio-resources field, based on the relationship with the CBQF Research Center of ESB-UCP and the stakeholders that have been developed around the Bioproducts business area.
EBRI aims to develop a national and international customer and partner base, with priority in the European market. It also intends to capitalize and maximize the relationship potential with CBQF's Key Partnerships, among which stands out the partnership with Amyris, Inc, which is investing in Bioproducts innovation in Porto and Northern Portugal.
EBRI's strategy is based on active management of the technology portfolio (from the laboratory to the market), on business development actions that add value to the knowledge produced (R&D), complemented by the training of researchers and the promotion of qualified and technology-based entrepreneurship.
The investment in Highly Qualified Human Resources supports in an articulated way the strategy to be developed.
